I asked the Lord what he wanted his daughters to know for August and this is what he said.

“I’m here for you, come to me with everything. All the hurt, all the pain, all the disappointment. Let me carry that. It was never meant for you to hold.”

I’m not sure who needs this reminder today, I know I needed it for myself too.

“This is not the end of their story. It looks and feels like all has stopped, no movement but just as roots grow deep underground, not much is seen on the surface. Do not discount the roots that are growing deep in this season. I’m perfecting my plans and making preparations no one could begin to understand.

Time spent with me is not wasted, time spent with family is not wasted. Do not allow the waiting to consume you. Do not obsess over the time or the season for which things will happen. Be here, now, present.”

So there you have it, I don’t know how much more I could personally add to that.

Your story is not over!

I’m sure you’ve heard this before, I know I have, many times.

But have you truly listened?

The Lord had me share in October 2024 that he wastes nothing, but today, I feel he wants to remind You not to waste this waiting.

What are You doing during this time?
Have you stopped planning or enjoying life?
Have you put off big dreams or goals?
Have you sat in comparison so long that you are now bitter?
How have you wasted time in this season?

I’m sure you’ve heard this before, I know I have, many times.

But have you truly listened?

The Lord had me share in October 2024 that he wastes nothing, but today, I feel he wants to remind You not to waste this waiting.

What are You doing during this time?
Have you stopped planning or enjoying life?
Have you put off big dreams or goals?
Have you sat in comparison so long that you are now bitter?
How have you wasted time in this season?

I know the years I wasted, and I refuse to waste any more. Time is too precious.

It's getting harder for me to "celebrate" Memorial Day because the reason why it exists is heartbreaking.

Too many have fought and died for the freedoms most take for granted every day.

Loved ones are grieving today and every day.

I hope you can take time away from celebrating and remember the ultimate sacrifice so many made.

That you would pray for comfort over their families and their aching hearts.

Wishing a blessed day to all of the mothers. It doesn't matter how your child came to be or whether or not you physically carried or birthed them. You are their mom.

To those still longing to be mothers and hold their babies in their arms, I pray the Lord would hold you close and comfort your mama heart today.

And for those who have lost, either your child or your mother, and this day hurts in a different way. I can't even begin to understand, but I know the one who does, Jesus. 💛
